Having switched careers in her early-fifties, from the customs brokerage world to the non-profit sector, Sandie Seymour has much life experience and business knowledge to draw from. With over 15 years in short-term contract work with non-profit agencies, she has facilitated dozens of groups in full spectrum job search skills, and coached hundreds of individuals in gaining confidence. She has scrambled often herself for career traction with her (un?)fair share of dead ends and stalls. She has felt the pain of uncertainty.
Whether you are new to Canada, returning to the world of work after a break, currently working and looking for more challenge or just something better, or you have some barriers that you can't seem to break through on your own, Sandie will put it all in perspective and get you moving to your next adventure. She has championed people who were so down and out that they had no roof over their head, people whose confidence went down the drain of lost hope, and people who just didn't have enough time in the day to look for a job themselves. Sandie reminds you of what you have already accomplished and inspires you to be your own hero.
Sandie's coaching is honest, direct and collaborative. She has your back and does not judge or accept the limitations you impose on yourself.
As a facilitator and job coach, Sandie holds a safe space for people to be who they are, to participate and grow in confidence. Whether it is in a group setting or one on one, she brings hope, focus and momentum towards your unique possibilities.
